On their first day of attending Leaders Training Course, cadets wait in line to fill out necessary paperwork needed to fulfill the course. This includes medical forms, emergency releases, and signing up for appointments with the chaplain if they would like to speak with him regarding religious matters.

During their "fit factory" at five o'clock in the morning, cadets must race up a hill trading off a punching bag between both members of their team. Other fit factory activities include running stairs and pull ups.

Cadets jump from the starting line to a two mile run for their final PT-test then await for their pass-fail scores to be read. Reaching the general requirements for the PT-exam is a mandated part of the Leaders Training Course to make cadets eligible for large scholarships at the end of the program.
